This Privacy Policy describes how On The Vine Media, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), based in New York, collects, uses, and shares information when you use Keep Score: Pickleball (the "App") on your mobile device. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Our Privacy Principles

Keep Score is built around privacy. These principles guide every decision we make:

• Private by default. There are no public profiles, no leaderboards, and no way for other users to discover you.
• No account required. You can use the App without creating an account. Games are stored on your device.
• No user-uploaded photos. We never collect biometric data or images of any kind.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Account information — If you choose to sign in, we receive your name and email from Apple or Google Sign-In. We use this to create your account.
• Display name — You choose a display name visible to other players in your games.
• Game data — Scores, player names, and game history that you log in the App.

Information collected automatically:

• Device information — Device model, operating system version, and app version for crash reporting and compatibility.
• Usage data — Basic analytics about app usage patterns to help us improve the experience. We do not track individual gameplay behavior.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the App's core features: game logging, multiplayer joining, and skill ratings.
• Sync your game data across devices when you sign in.
• Calculate and update your private Glicko-2 skill rating.
• Identify and fix bugs and crashes.
• Improve the App based on aggregate usage patterns.

4. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not serve advertisements.
• We do not share your data with third-party analytics services that use personal identifiers.
• We do not create public profiles or make your information discoverable by other users.
• We do not collect or store user-uploaded photos or images.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate the App:

• Supabase — Cloud database and authentication. Your game data and account information are stored securely on Supabase's infrastructure. Supabase Privacy Policy
• Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In — Authentication providers. We receive only the information you authorize during sign-in.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — For in-app purchases (Supporter subscriptions). Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple or Google.

6. Data Sharing

Your game data is shared only with the other players in each game. Specifically:

• Players in a game can see the display names, avatars, and supporter ribbons of other players in that same game.
• Your rating is visible only to you.
• No one outside of your games can see your information.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your games are part of other players' records, full deletion of game history is not possible. You can reset your rating and game history at any time from settings, which removes them from your view. You can also close your account at any time from settings. When you close your account:

• Your profile and display name are anonymized.
• Your player slots in other users' games are anonymized.
• Local data on your device is cleared.

8. Children's Privacy

Keep Score: Pickleball is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Anonymize your account.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA. Please contact us for more information.

10. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including row-level security policies, encrypted connections, and secure authentication tokens. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
